Max Helm Rape Case, Rape Accusation
On August 24, 2021, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Max, who then abandoned her to bleed to death on the ground. The event reportedly took place during a party hosted by the Fiji Fraternity at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at around 11:00 AM.
The accused, Max, raped his victim, assaulted her, and then threw her outside. For his seventeen-year-old victim’s benefit, a nearby girl noticed her and took her to the hospital.
When word of the incident spread on August 25, 2021, University of Nebraska–Lincoln undergraduate students organized demonstrations against the rapist and the entire Fiji Fraternity.
Another report claims that eight hours after Max Helm’s rape incident, another student was sexually assaulted. A different girl was raped by a member of the Fiji Fraternity in 2017, and Max was later identified as that person.
